Technically ‘Perdido Key’ directly translates to ‘Lost Key’. This gorgeous island got its name from the early Spanish that discovered it in 1693. Once you reach the island, you will be simply swept away by its amazing beauty. It will be like finding a lost beauty.
The island has a laid back atmosphere with plenty of estuaries, wetlands and wildlife. The island, which is located in the extreme northwest corner of the state, is truly worth the visit with plenty to offer for visitors.
