Guests arriving with domestic flights can wait to be picked up by our tour guide at the baggage claim area. Those using international flights will have to wait at the exit doors after getting their luggage. Guests arriving before 3:00pm will get complimentary transportation to the Fashion Outlets of Chicago for a bit of shopping. Those arriving before 5:00pm can enjoy a night tour of Chicago at a cost of $25 per person. Minimum of 4 guests are needed to arrange for the night tour.
The night tour will include a visit to the Crown Fountain at Millennium Park, Michigan Avenue, and Michigan Lakeside for a beautiful panoramic view of Chicago’s skyline.

Hotel: Best Western or equivalent
On this day, we will see the beautiful architecture in Chicago. We will take a walk through Millennium Park where we will find plenty of impressive architecture,landscape design and sculptures.We will check out the Cloud Gate-an impressive urban sculpture. We will then enjoy a rest at the Clarence Buckingham Memorial Fountain before making our way to the Navy Pier. We will also visit the Chicago Theater and the Magnificent Mile. At Michigan Avenue or the Magnificent Mile, we will check out Grant Park, the Art Institute of Chicago and the Chicago Water Tower besides doing a bit of shopping at the shopping malls in the area. We will also go up to the 360 Chicago which will provide us with beautiful panoramic views of the city of Chicago. Also included on this day is a visit to the Shedd Aquarium-one of the oldest and largest indoor aquariums in the world. We will wrap up the day with a river cruise that will give us plenty of interesting things and places to see.

In the morning hours, we will make our way to Springfield, IL. Upon arrival, we will visit the home of Abraham Lincoln-where he lived for 17 years. We will also check out the State Capitol building of Illinois which is right behind his residence before making our way to St. Louis. In St. Louis, we will visit the Gateway Arch, a 630- foot monument constructed in commemoration of the historical migration and land expansion. We will also visit the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis with its large collection of mosaic.
Hotel: Comfort Inn or equivalent
We make our way to Memphis on this day by going across the Mississippi River. In Memphis, we will visit Graceland - Elvis Presley’s home. We will also enjoy the city’s impressive architecture with traces of Egyptian influence. We will then make our way to the hotel near Jackson, Mississippi and call it a day.
Hotel: Ramada Pearl Jackson Airport or equivalent
We will visit the Oak Valley Plantation-a US National Historic Landmark in New Orleans. We will explore the 300-year old oak trees before taking a swamp tour to learn of New Orleans’s unique eco-system. At night, feel free to join us on the optional New Orleans night tour for a fee of $25 per person. On this night tour, we will enjoy live jazz performances that are commonplace in New Orleans.
Hotel: La Quinta Inn or equivalent
We will continue with our visit to the land of music, New Orleans, on this day. We will enjoy the French Creole culture and taste of mouth-watering dishes. Be sure to taste the famed sugar coated donuts as we explore the city’s gorgeous streets and enjoy live local street art. We will then make our way to Alabama via Birmingham. Birmingham is the largest city in Alabama and in history. The Kelly Ingram Park serves as a constant reminder of the tears and bloodshed during the civil rights movement in the 1960s.
Hotel: Days Inn Attalla, Best Western or equivalent
We will make our way to Chattanooga, Tennessee in the morning hours. In Chattanooga, we will visit Rock City where we will enjoy breathtaking views of Lookout Mountain. We will then make our way through the Great Smoky Mountains with its abundance of animal and plant life. Leaving the Great Smoky Mountains behind, we will make our way to Gatlinburg with its unique shops and boutique hotels. We will enjoy dinner(at your expense) at the Dixie Stampede while we enjoy brilliant shows in the dinner theatre.
Hotel: Clarion Inn, Baymont Inn& Suites or equivalent
We will visit the ‘Bluegrass State’ of Kentucky on this day. While there, we will check out the Kentucky Artisan Center which showcases Kentucky’s charming local folk art ware. We will then visit the Kentucky Horse Park where we will enjoy the museums and shows that are available. To top the day off, we will make our way to Simpsonville, KY, a shopping outlet with a large number of famous brands at discounted prices.
Hotel: Ramada Louisville, Days Inn or equivalent
We will make our way to Lafayette, Indiana on this day. While there, we will visit Purdue University. We will then make our way back to Chicago in the afternoon hours.
