Beijing the capital of China is full of culture to be explored. We start our city tour at the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square also called “Gate of Heavenly Peace.” Later, we go to the Summer Palace and admire the landscapes surrounding Kunming Lake. We conclude our day at the 2008 Olympic Sites – the Bird’s Nest (National Stadium) and the Water Cube (National Aquatics Center).
This morning we go to the Great Wall, one of the most amazing man-made structures on Earth. Enjoy your time exploring the views of mountains and valleys. Later, we will head to the Sacred Way.
Before leaving to Xian we will explore the Temple of Heaven, known as the Temple of Heaven and Earth in the past.
We will tour Xian is home to Terracotta Warriors and Horses. Admire the unique poses and facial expressions of the soldiers as we walk through the pits, then head to lunch at local restaurant. After lunch we continue our tour at the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Ming Dynasty City Wall. At the end of the day we get back to the city for a Palace Banquet dinner followed by an exciting Tang Dynasty Show.
We will take a short flight to Shanghai after having breakfast. Shanghai is also known as the “Pearl of the Orient,” it is full of European-style neighborhoods. Today we visit the renowned 16th-century Yu Garden, a once private 5-acre classical Chinese garden. In the evening, we take you for dinner followed by a dynamic Chinese Acrobatics Show.
Drive through Nanjing Road. Arrive at the Bund and walk along the waterfront boulevard, we are mesmerized by the amazing cityscapes of Shanghai’s skyline. Continue our visit to Shanghai Museum. Then spend the rest of the afternoon free to explore Shanghai. This evening enjoy a Farewell Dinner Party.
Enjoy the full day free at leisure or join our half day Jewish Heritage Tour with no additional cost. We will meet back at the hotel to visit Huoshan Park to see monument for Jewish Refugees, Ohel Moshe Synagogue and the Old Jewish Shanghai.
We reach the end of our china journey transfer to the airport for a flight back to US. You also have an option to extend your trip with a 2-night at Hong Kong.
