Shanghai Suzhou Today you will visit the Shanghai Museum. Spend ample time there to see the ancient Chinese art, furniture and jade. Enjoy authentic Shanghai cuisine for lunch. Tour the Shanghai People's Square to stroll the old temples then we will take you for a shopping visit to the Jade shop. In the afternoon we will drive to Suzhou. Suzhou has been praised as the "Paradise on Earth" since ancient times. Also known as "Venice of the East", it was built around the Grand Canal featuring world class gardens and silk products. Suzhou Wuxi We will continue to visit the ancient city of Suzhou. Tour the Liu Garden, one of the best four Chinese gardens and an UNESCO world heritage, then visit a Silk Spinning Mill where you will learn how silk is created from the mulberry-munching silkworms to produce thread and the finest cloth. In the afternoon we will travel to Wuxi, a unique water village and a pearl situated in the center of China's Yangtze Delta. Tour the Three Kingdom movie base, a place to learn the historical period that was one of the bloodiest in Chinese history but also has been greatly romanticized in the cultures of China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Vietnam. Proceed to the Lingshan Buddhist Scenic Spot. The Grand Buddha has one of the largest Buddha statues in China and also in the world while the Fan Palace is an amazing showcase of Chinese Buddhist arts of engraving, painting, mural and architecture. Nanjing Hangzhou We will visit the Nanjing International shopping center to have a taste of the famous "salted" duck. Then visit China's Yangtze River, built and designed by the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge. Proceed to Hangzhou for the evening. Enjoy the ) "West Lake Night" show (optional tour) with song and dance performances. This is one of the Chinese top live-action performances strongly featured by the local culture and unique charm of the West Lake in Hangzhou. It is nationwide famous for its dreamlike show and fantastic elegance. It is one of the representatives created by Zhang Yimou who is China's most famous movie director and general director for the opening ceremony of Beijing 2008 Olympics Games. Shanghai Hangzhou In the morning travel to Hangzhou by coach. Hangzhou is a city described by Marco Polo as the "most beautiful and magnificent city in the world". Enjoy a relaxing cruise tour on the magnificent West Lake tour; tour the Six Harmony Pagodas and then visit the Former Residence of Xueyan Hu, the richest Chinese buisnessman in late Qing Dynasty. Then go to Hangzhou's famous Longjing tea garden to taste the well-known Dragon Well Tea. In the evening will proceed back to Shanghai. You may watch the Cosmic Voyage show (optional tour) RMB 150.
