On our first day we will pay a visit to Sacramento which is California State Capital. Sacramento was the first continental railroad, the heart of the gold rush and Pony Express. In the afternoon across the famous Donner Pass we will enter Nevada. We will spend the night in Elko.

Through the Emigration Canyon we will arrive into the Echo Canyon to explore the once traveled Oregon Trail. The trail serves as the only corridor to the West, and was called "The great migration", the trail attractions include: the Devil's Gate, the historical landmarks of Independence Rock. In Casper we will be spending the night.

It is very impressive to see the faces of several US presidents like Thomas Jefferson and Abraham Lincoln carved so meticulously on such huge granite formation. It is Mount Rushmore, in South Dakota where we will watch those carved faces and more. Next will be a visit to the Devil’s Tower National Monument which was meant to be a sacred place for the Native Americans. We will spend the night in Gillette.
Hotel: Clarion Inn Gillette
We will be spending a refreshing time with nature at the Yellowstone National Park including: the Yellowstone Falls, the Yellowstone Canyon, Mammoth Hot Springs, and Mud Volcano. Wildlife is rich in Yellowstone; you can find bison, elk, moose, and bear. We will stay for Overnight in West Yellowstone.
Hotel: Dude & Roundup or Yellowstone Country Inn or Travelers Lodge
Still the Yellowstone National Park has a lot to offer such as the Old Faithful Geyser, Rainbow Pool. Afterwards, we will head to the Grand Teton National Park. Twelve of the peaks in Teton reach a height of 12,000 feet and back a dozen mountain glaciers. By the afternoon we will be heading to Wyoming to visit the western town of Jackson Hole to shop and eat. We will stay in Salt Lake City for the night.
Hotel: Red Lion Hotel Salt Lake Downtown (except 8/6; Hotel: TBA)
We will be visiting the temple square at the state of Utah and the State Capitol Building. Then by the afternoon we will be arriving in Reno, Nevada, the city known as "The Biggest Little City in the World” it is the city of fun and entertainment. We will stay in Reno for the night.
Hotel: Silver Legacy Resort Casino or equivalent
By morning, we will be leaving Reno to visit Lake Tahoe with its great depth. You can go on an optional cruise to visit this beautiful lake. We will be returning to the Bay Area by the afternoon.
