In the afternoon you will go to the amazing Polynesian Cultural Center. The center which is owned by the Mormon Church is staffed by the students from Brigham Young University-Hawaii. They created typical villages from eight Pacific Island nations (Hawaii, Samoa, Maori New Zealand (Aotearoa), Fiji, Tahiti, the Marquesas, Tonga, and Rapa Nui) on 42 acres. Each of the island villages gives you a first-hand look at these diverse and fascinating cultures. Each tribe architecture, crafts, dances and customs will be presented. The Center also offers several screenings in their IMAX theatre of the Coral Reef Adventure that follows the real life expedition of underwater filmmakers as they explore unique locations in Fiji, the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, and the waters off Tahiti. A Hawaiian buffet feast will be served in the evening. You will also experience an authentic Luau and then enjoy Hawaii’s largest and most exciting show - Breath of Life, A story of passion, ignited by fire, song and dance. A cast of over 100 islanders performing traditional Polynesian songs and dances in the 2,800 seat Pacific Theatre. This large scale show features more than 100 dances and a fire-knife performance will be performed.
